With a long history as a singer/songwriter from Amarillo to Los Angeles in ’65 to Nashville in ’75, Jim signed with Lee Hazelwood Industries as “The Kitchen Cinq.” An Anthology was issued in 2015 after 50 years. Jim co-wrote the top 10 Classic Country hit “Chicken Truck” in 1980 with John Anderson & Monroe Fields along with other charting co-writes.
Currently Jim, Billy Droze, and Ronnie Bowman co-wrote Billy’s #1 Bluegrass smash “Better With Time” & video in 2017.
